Maryam Hassanzahraee Registered Physiotherapist
Maryam Hassanzahraee, Physiotherapist, PhD
Helping people move better, recover faster, and regain confidence has been my passion since I began my career as a physiotherapist in 2010. My journey has taken me from my homeland to Australia, where I earned my PhD in Physiotherapy at Monash University with a specialization in motor learning and brain stimulation, and then to Canada, where I completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Toronto in neurorehabilitation.
As part of this multidisciplinary team, I bring my expertise to help patients achieve their personal goals, whether it’s returning to sport, work, school, or daily life without pain. My approach is evidence-based and patient-centered, blending manual therapy, taping, and tailored exercise programs to create treatment plans that are both effective and sustainable.
Outside the clinic, I enjoy nature walking, spending time with my family, and baking. I am committed to providing the highest standard of care and empowering patients with the knowledge and tools they need for long-term health, functional independence, and a better quality of life.
